Nicollin: training recycling centre staff in virtual reality

The context

RecyclageVR’s recycling centre staff training was created in collaboration with Nicollin. It places learners in a virtual recycling centre to practise workplace decisions: access checks, sorting at disposal bays and specific hazardous household waste.

What this setup illustrates

The photographs show participants wearing VR headsets and a shared display of the experience. Trainers can use these situations to review choices and guidelines. Immersive sessions complement theory and group discussion within a training programme.

Training and assessment modes support practice followed by a review of responses. The training team defines the selected modules, guidelines and session arrangements.
