From the first sorting step to life in the soil.
Reduce food waste and sort organic waste
In an interactive kitchen, participants consider leftovers and where they should go. The scene introduces food waste, sorting and preparing certain items before adding them to the compost.
Understand the balance of materials
The journey explores the combination of organic waste and shredded woody material. It shows the role of different inputs and invites reflection on the actions needed to maintain compost.
Observe life in the compost
A change of scale takes participants inside the compost bin. They discover the organisms living there and the link between decomposition, biodiversity and soil life.
Follow maturation and use the compost
Time becomes visible: the compost develops and then finds its place in the garden. This progression introduces maturation and connects the first sorting action to the use of the resulting material.

How should we fit the experience into our workshop?
Your audience, expected participant numbers and event programme help determine the organisation. A demonstration lets you review the session, participant rotation and time for discussion with the facilitator.
Are headsets and support included?
